Evenstad Reserve is the Pinot Noir Domaine Serene built its reputation on. First made in 1990, it remains the winery’s flagship and the clearest expression of its blending program more than three decades later. In 2022, that benchmark earned another trio of 95-point reviews. The 2022 vintage unfolded at the pace Pinot Noir rewards. A cool spring slowed development, a balanced summer kept the season measured, and a warm, dry autumn gave the fruit time to build flavor while holding onto natural acidity. The result is a vintage with real depth, energy, and the structure to develop over time.  The cellar work is equally measured. The 2022 spent 15 months in French oak, building texture and structure around the fruit without losing the vitality of the vintage. It is a polished, age-worthy expression of the wine that has stood at the center of Domaine Serene for more than 30 years.
