Please note that your use of the Wine Country Connection, LLC websites, winecountryconnection.net and winecountryconnection.com, is subject to the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of these Terms of Service, please do not access or otherwise use these websites or any information or materials contained on them.

By using the Wine Country Connection website, you agree to be bound by the Terms of Service set forth below. Wine Country Connection, LLC may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be effective upon posting to this page, and your continued use of the website constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

User Obligations

You agree not to do any of the following while using the Wine Country Connection website:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the website
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the website

Unauthorized attempts to access or tamper with non-public portions of the website may result in legal action.

Customers further acknowledge that Wine Country Connection may collect, use, and disclose customer information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, as updated from time to time and posted on the website.

Sale of Alcoholic Beverages

Wine Country Connection, LLC does not sell alcohol to anyone under 21 years of age. By using this site and placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are at least 21 years old, that the person receiving the shipment is at least 21 years old, and that any alcohol purchased is intended for personal consumption and not for resale.

Adult signature by a person 21 years of age or older with valid identification is required for delivery of alcoholic beverages. Alcohol shipments cannot be delivered to P.O. Boxes.

If you do not agree with these conditions, do not use this website.

Except for orders going to the permit states described in the next paragraph, title to and ownership of alcoholic beverages passes from Seller to Buyer in the state in which the sale occurs, and the Buyer takes all responsibility for the product being transported from the state of sale to the Buyer’s selected destination. Buyer may pick up the product at Seller’s location, or make independent delivery arrangements. Sales tax will be applied based on the seller’s location. Seller makes no representation as to the legal rights of anyone to deliver or import any alcoholic beverages or other goods into any state. Buyer warrants that he or she is solely responsible for the transport of the purchased products and for determining the legality and the tax and duty consequences of bringing the products to the Buyer’s chosen destination.

For orders going to states in which Seller is licensed or has a direct-to-consumer shipping permit, title to and ownership of the product passes from Seller to Buyer in the state to which the product is shipped, and sales and other applicable taxes will be applied based on the requirements of the destination state. By placing an order, Buyer authorizes Seller to act on Buyer’s behalf in arranging for transportation of the product at Buyer’s direction. Alternatively, Buyer may pick up the product at Seller’s location or make independent shipping arrangements. For any product picked up at Seller’s location, sales tax will be applied based on that location. Prices of products do not include shipping, handling, insurance, packaging materials, or applicable taxes, the cost of which varies depending on destination, number of bottles ordered, and selected delivery options.

Shipping & Delivery

Wine Country Connection primarily ships through FedEx. Estimated transit times vary by destination, service level, weather conditions, and carrier operations, and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated by the carrier.

Alcohol shipments require an adult signature from a person 21 years of age or older with valid identification at the time of delivery.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information and for ensuring that an adult 21 years of age or older is available to receive the shipment. Additional charges may apply for returned shipments, re-routed shipments, address corrections, reshipments, storage fees charged by the carrier, or other carrier-related service adjustments.

Wine Country Connection is not responsible for delays caused by weather, carrier interruptions, failed delivery attempts, incorrect addresses, or circumstances outside its reasonable control.

Weather Holds and Wine Condition

Wine is a perishable product. Wine Country Connection reserves the right to delay shipment during periods of extreme heat, cold, or other unsafe shipping conditions in order to protect the wine.

If a customer requests shipment despite Wine Country Connection’s recommendation to delay due to weather conditions, the customer assumes the risk of weather-related damage, including leakage, seepage, pushed corks, or other heat- or cold-related deterioration.

Once a shipment has entered the carrier’s network, changes to delivery date, delivery location, hold requests, or rerouting may be limited or unavailable.

Wine Country Connection is not responsible for damage caused by improper handling, delayed acceptance, missed delivery, or improper storage after delivery. However, if a shipment arrives visibly damaged, contains the wrong items, or there is another shipping error attributable to Wine Country Connection, the customer should contact Wine Country Connection promptly so the matter can be reviewed and addressed.

Wine Country Connection reserves the right to refuse any order or shipment if it determines that the sale, shipment, or delivery would be inappropriate, unsafe, or non-compliant with applicable law.

Storage

Wine Country Connection uses its own temperature-controlled storage facility and may offer complimentary or seasonal storage at its discretion. Wine may also be shipped to approved third-party storage facilities in California. Please contact Wine Country Connection for current options and details.

“Hold, Build-a-Case”

The “Hold, Build-a-Case” option at checkout may be used to place orders for later pickup or later consolidated shipment, where permitted and applicable. Orders may be picked up at Wine Country Connection locations in Santa Rosa or Yountville by the customer or the customer’s authorized carrier.

Customers should use the customer notes box at checkout or contact Wine Country Connection directly to provide pickup or future shipping instructions.

In addition to pickup, the “Hold, Build-a-Case” option may be used to combine one or more orders for future shipment. Packaging materials, freight, insurance, applicable taxes, and any other shipping-related charges may be applied at the time of shipment.

Wine held for future shipment or pickup remains subject to Wine Country Connection’s current Orders & Returns Policy and Unshipped Order Policy, including any maximum hold period then in effect.

Packaging Materials

Standard packaging-material rates, when applicable, do not include the cost of wine, freight, insurance, or applicable taxes.
