2013 ALTA "QUATREAUX" PROPRIETARY RED Winery Notes: "The Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are the backbone of this wine, bringing rich texture and supple tannins with beautiful floral notes and dark, ripe berry aromas. The Cabernet Franc has harmonized and stretched out the tannins for a long finish, while also supporting the floral and fruit aromas with hints of tobacco. The Petit Verdot further extends the floral infused bouquet of the wine. After fermentation, the wine was aged for twenty months in French oak, of which 65% was "new wood" and 35% second year."
