“The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is a very pretty, approachable wine. A whole range of floral and savory accents perks up a core of inky dark fruit. Medium in body, supple and inviting, the 2017 will drink well right out of the gate. Hints of blueberry, mocha, licorice linger on the tightly wound, brooding finish. Give the 2017 a few years in bottle to soften.”
