The palate starts with very deeply concentrated sweet black cherry, dried plums and wild boysenberry that then brightens to finish with wild red currants and a touch of spice and bakers chocolate. This is a rich wine on the palate with mostly sweet dark fruits, but somehow maintaining a sense of freshness behind the depth. The finish is long, rich and supple with slightly dusty tannins and ultimately very satisfying." 95 Points
