After years of developing the vineyard to Aubert’s standards, the 2024 is only the second vintage of this young estate bottling. Purity defines the 2024. Bing cherry and ripe strawberry lead the wine, followed by sandalwood, white pepper, tobacco and dried mint. With air, brambly fruit and sweet earth emerge, adding savory complexity without obscuring the precision of the fruit. The structure is soft and caressing, but beneath that immediate polish is enough density and energy to give the wine real substance.
