The 2023 'Taquine' White Blend is a playful homage to Annette Kellerman, a fearless inventor of women's swimwear who was famously arrested in 1902 for daring to wear a one-piece swimsuit. This vivacious wine, named after the French word for "tease," is a blend of Cortese and Falanghina, two aromatic Italian varietals. Sourced from the Slough Vineyard in Clarksburg AVA, these grapes harmonize to create a wine brimming with citrus and white blossom fragrances. Nine months in neutral French oak adds complexity and depth, resulting in a balanced, lively white wine with a refreshing acidity and a modest 11.9% alcohol.
