2022 GREATER FOOL WINE NAPA/SONOMA SAUVIGNON BLANC The 2022 Greater Fool Napa/Sonoma Sauvignon Blanc showcases a distinct aromatic profile, thanks to the Sauvignon Blanc Musqué Clone from which it is made. This particular clone is renowned for its musky, perfumed character, often described as "dank and heady." The wine draws from two prime vineyard sites: the Frediani Vineyard in Napa and the DeNatale Vineyard in Sonoma. This blend of terroirs contributes to the wine's complex bouquet, which features notes of nectarine, jasmine flowers, golden apple, beeswax, and lemon curd. Fermentation for this Sauvignon Blanc took place in stainless steel, a method known to preserve the fresh, vibrant aromas of the grape. Following fermentation, the wine was aged sur lie for 10 months in a mix of new (25%) and used oak barrels.
