2022 GARNIER & FILS CHABLIS Jérome and Xavier Garnier were the first generation of their family to bottle wines from their immaculate family-owned estate vineyard, and it's lucky for us that they did. The Domaine is in the northern part of the appellation near Ligny-le-Chatel and extends to Maligny, Villy, and Lignorelles, focusing on the fresh, clean purity of the cooler reaches of this northern AOC. The estate is committed to environmentally friendly and organic practices, prioritizing tradition and sustainability, and will be awarded an organic certification this year. The northern proximity dictates the winery to harvest later in the season to ensure full ripeness. The 2022 vintage was slowly fermented over five months for complete flavor extraction, rested on the lees for eleven months in stainless steel, and boasts a silky mouthfeel with vibrant acidity that's absolutely irresistible.
