2021 SUMMER DREAMS TWILIGHT SONOMA COAST PINOT NOIR Jayson Woodbridge, the founder and driving force behind Hundred Acre and Fortunate Son, has just released the latest vintage of his Summer Dreams project, focusing on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the West Sonoma Coast. If you have followed any of Jayson's projects, you know he does nothing in half-measures but instead spares no expense to produce the finest wines from any enterprise he's involved in. Summer Dreams is the latest iteration of Jayson's ventures. Remarkably pure, focused, and balanced, the Summer Dreams wines are a different style than Jayson's bolder creations from Hundred Acre but made with the same meticulous attitude and a keen eye for detail that has solidified his iconic reputation. WINERY NOTES: Super opulent, intense wildflowers, dark red fruit, cherry cobbler, raspberry, and strawberries with hints of Asian spice, leather, and minerals as with them all they are whole berry fermented in the finest French oak barrels and some small open top fermenters. This is a medium bodied wine packed with elegant subtle notes, perfect for summer and early fall or with meals where subtly and complexity must dance across the palate.
