2021 MORGAN TWELVE CLONES SANTA LUCIA HIGHLANDS PINOT NOIR Dan Morgan attended UC Davis for Veterinary Studies until realizing Enology was a better fit and immediately enrolled in the graduate program. After completing his studies, Dan became the winemaker at Jekel Winery and later at Durney Vineyard, where he continued making Monterey County wines, always pursuing his dream of owning a winery and sharing his wines with the world. In 1982, Dan and his wife Donna founded Morgan Winery in the Santa Lucia Highlands, and the Morgan label has since become synonymous with artisan wines with balance, elegance, structure, and distinction. The Twelve Clones Pinot Noir blends fruit from some of the region’s top vineyards, including Morgan’s award-winning organic Double L estate, which accounts for 61% of the final blend. It offers a superior example of Santa Lucia Highlands terroir and is an impressive value.
