2021 LAIRD RED HEN NAPA VALLEY CHARDONNAY With over five decades of expertise in the wine industry, the Laird family's journey commenced in 1970 when Ken Laird acquired a property in Napa Valley. In a transformative effort, Ken and his wife, Gail, guided by Robert Mondavi, Ken's mentor, undertook the removal of aged prune trees, making way for the cultivation of grapevines. Since those early days, the Lairds have consistently expanded their influence, acquiring exceptional vineyards throughout the Valley. Winery Notes: Like a Citrine stone, this wine catches your eye with its color and is immediately followed by dreamy aromas of white peach, citrus blossom, raw honey, and brioche. The dry palate has zesty acidity that is complemented by distinct flavors of mango, sweet pear, nectarine, and vanilla. The creamy mouthfeel is followed by a lingering finish.
