“Coming from a collaboration between Julien Fayard and owner/winemaker Don Lorenzi, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley checks in as 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Merlot, and the balance Petit Verdot, Malbec, and Cabernet Franc that spent a whopping 42 months in new barrels. Despite the long levage, it has only subtle oak as well as a gorgeous bouquet of cr me de cassis, spicy herbs, cedar pencil, and smoked tobacco. It s full-bodied and has a supple, elegant mouthfeel, soft tannins, and a classic 2019 core of fruit. Drink this ripe, sexy, weightless, and already beautiful 2019 over the coming decade.”

More about 2019 Lorenzi Estate Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon This exceptional Napa Valley Cabernet was crafted by winemakers and friends Julien Fayard and Don Lorenzi. Julien, a native of Provence, France, grew up immersed in winemaking culture and is highly educated with a degree in winemaking, a Master's degree in Ecology, and an MBA in business. Julien worked for Chateau Lafite Rothschild and Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte before moving to the US, hired as the Director of Winemaking for Philippe Melka at prestigious Napa Valley brands such as Lail, Gemstone, Hundred Acre, and Mastery. Don has been crafting award winning wines from his estate in Temecula for nearly twenty years.
