A joy to behold, and even more fun to drink, this wine is juicy and deftly extracted, offering an array of dark berry fruits, including ripe blueberry and blackberry, along with notes of crème fraiche and leather on the nose. Notes of dark berries, brown spices and leather fan out on the palate. The wine is exquisitely balanced; round, slightly chalky, yet offering polished tannins. The mouthfeel is silky on the mid-palate, rich, and weighty, yet retains a pleasant buoyancy with its medium to full body. This delicious Petite Sirah finishes with lingering, dry, yet silky tannins, showcasing a satisfying texture with flavorful notes of mild, woody spice, fresh fruit, and a balanced mild acidity on the finish.
