The 2015 spent one year in French tonneaux followed by an additional year in large barrel. The 2015 Vigna Nastagio Brunello is more introspective aromatically at this point than the 2016, with black plum, tobacco, aniseed, and fresh new leather. The full-bodied palate is warm with espresso, dried black cherry, and cocoa, which its velvety tannins wrap around. It opened up quite a bit the second day and will benefit from both time in cellar and air upon opening. 2026-2036." 94 Points
