A deep, dark ruby/purple color, loads of blackberry, roasted meat, Mediterranean lavender and licorice are all present in this full-bodied, complex and sexy wine. This is by far the most nuanced and multifaceted of the Rocca wines, but also the most drinkable. Soft tannins, low acidity and a big, fat, fleshy, meaty Syrah working beautifully with the Cabernet Sauvignon -- this is a stunner and a great example of an intelligent blend.
