Layers of ripe, dark fruits, and cedar in the nose are woven together with aromas of red berries, black tea leaves, ripe stone fruit and exotic spices. On the palate, layers of ripe fruits, including Bing cherry and raspberry are dashed with allspice and complimented with subtle, toasted oak components. The wine is nicely balanced, complex and framed by an appropriately lifting presence of acidity and soft tannins that develop into a silky and enjoyable finish."
