2012 CHASSEUR "VRAI COTE" PINOT NOIR, SONOMA COAST Winemaker's Notes: "This is a darkly rich Pinot with a deep ruby hue. Not as tightly wound as its bigger sisters, the Chasseur 2012's, it shows the aromas of a youthful Pinot. Aromas of black raspberry and dried rose petals bounce from the glass with nuances of clove, allspice and juniper berry. The rich concentrated flavors are as equally forthcoming on the palate. This impressive wine can be enjoyed with now, but will continue to impress over the next couple of years."
