2012 ANDREW HARDY "LITTLE OX" MCLAREN VALE, SHIRAZ Producer's Notes: "Deep dark purple in color. On opening the nose is a bit reticent, but with a little aeration notes of blueberry and black cherry are complimented by a touch of sweet vanilla and cracked black pepper adding a savory component to the lifted, primary fruit aromas. The palate is medium fuller- fuller bodied, with deep, dark berry flavors kissed with some sweet spice notes and pepper on the finish. The tannins are finer grained and as the wine opens up it becomes almost voluptuous and round in texture, with juicy dark fruit leading to a dry finish. This has all the components to be an exceptional bottle of wine."
