Jake Bilbro of Limerick Lane Winery is the third steward of the historic property since the Del Fava family planted the estate vineyard in 1910. The Del Favas saw the potential of the land early on, even before modern science that is commonly used today in the New World to determine the best soils, plots, and which rootstock and clones will thrive to the fullest.

From Jeb Dunnuck: "Lastly, the 2019 Zinfandel 1910 Block checks in as 98% Zinfandel and 2% Petite Sirah from a single block of the estate vineyard in the Russian River Valley. It was destemmed and spent 18 months in 8% new French oak. It ranks with my favorites in the lineup, offering an incredibly aromatic bouquet of red, blue, and black fruit intermixed with ground pepper, dried orange peel, and candied violets. Rich, intense, and medium to full-bodied, with beautiful tannins, it’s another wine that grows in stature with time in the glass, delivering ripe tannins and a beautiful finish.
