The color is a dark, rich opaque purple; the flavors are balanced, complex, pure and elegant; and the finish is lingering with soft, sweet tannins and espresso notes. This wine is approachable now, and while it doesn't have the intense structure that the 2013 Swagger has, it definitely has the acidity to suggest age worthiness."

The finish is opulent, and the wine long, showing complexity and secondary nuances, and giving no excuse to defer one's gratification.
