Winemaker Notes: "Our 2014 Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir comes out of the gates with a creamy, lifted fruit nose threaded with coffee and black licorice and supported by a base of forest and earth. The palate blends a range of fruit - from black cherry and blackberry to hints of boysenberry - with savory smoked meats and forest floor. As it opens up, creamy vanilla bean and lifted evergreen make their appearance, and dense cassis joins the fruit profile - a rich complement to the structured, drawn-out finish."
