2012 WATKINS FAMILY Rosé

Winery Notes: "This limited production Rosé was made with Pinot Noir grapes from a famed vineyard in Russian River Valley.  The juice was bled off of the skins when the perfect amount of fruit aroma and flavor had been sufficiently extracted to produce a delicate style of Rosé wine. The beautiful light pink color is a result of only 2 hours of skin contact time which was followed by stainless steel fermentation and aging.  This resulted in a vibrant and lively wine that is pure, fresh and delicious.  Notes of floral strawberry and kiwi.  Pineapple and pomegranate create a tangy and refreshing burst of flavor.  Great as an aperitif, pairs well with almost any appetizer, fine charcuterie, light pasta and grilled fish.  Very romantic."
