2012 FARM COLLECTIVE “NAPA VALLEY” CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Farm Collective is a project, produced by the same group that makes T-Vine, Hallowed Ground, and Regusci wines. Crafted by the winemaker at T-Vine, this impressive Napa Valley Cabernet is sourced from carefully selected vineyards in Calistoga, Rutherford and Stags Leap District. At a fraction of the price that you would expect to pay for a Cabernet from these AVAs, Farm Collective is an impressive find.

After spending 18 months in French & American oak barrels and with over 12 months of time developing in the bottle, this 2012 Napa Valley Cabernet is showing beautifully now. Additions of Merlot, Charbono, Petite Sirah and Cabernet Franc, add even more complexity and character to the final blend.

You’ve probably seen my postings that 2012 was a blockbuster vintage for Napa Valley Cabernet… Finding one for under thirty per bottle, crafted by an experienced winemaker and sourced from great vineyards is something that really deserves a second look. If you enjoy quality Napa Valley Cabernet at a realistic price, this one is for you…

2012 FARM COLLECTIVE “NAPA VALLEY” CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Winery Notes: “This wine displays great depth and complexity in aromatics and flavor concentration.  Raspberry, dark chocolate and coffee beans are balanced with spice rub, vanilla and cigar box notes. On the palate this wine showcases the great 2012 vintage in Napa while maintaining elegance and balance as well as allowing the fruit intensity to shine through.
