THE GRAND FINALE SPECIAL MIXED 15-PACK
2017 MASTERY NAPA VALLEY CABERNET SAUVIGNON
“Mastery 2017 is one of the biggest and richest we’ve produced. It begins with a voluminous nose of muddled blueberries, red currants, violets, wet slate, butterscotch, vanilla bean, and fresh sage. The palate is rich and opulent, with a powerful blend of mixed wild berries, blackberry cobbler, cassis, and liquid minerals, all seamlessly wrapped in a compact, concentrated style. The mouthfeel is provocative, supple, and sexy, with a creamy, smooth, mouth-filling texture. It finishes intense, elegant, and very long. I’ve never lined up every vintage of Mastery to taste all at once, but this vintage would easily be at the very top of the list.“

2018 FAUST THE PACT COOMBSVILLE CABERNET SAUVIGNON
“This is really something, showing focus and purity that highlights the unique character of this appellation. So much blue fruit, lavender and walnut with some herbal and sweet-tobacco undertones. It’s full-bodied, yet tight and poised. Lovely quality to the tannins. Exceptional. Drink after 2022.”

2019 BLACK POWDER OAKVILLE CABERNET SAUVIGNON
“The 2018 Black Powder Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon has beautiful aromatics and opens with violets, cassis, plums, graphite, and cola. The palate is plush with blueberries, cloves, and chocolate for a long, enjoyable finish. The depth of flavor concentration, firm tannins, and fresh acidity give this wine the perfect structure for aging and further flavor development. Drink now through 2030.”

2015 DYER DIAMOND MOUNTAIN DISTRICT CABERNET SAUVIGNON
“Translucent and super-expressive, Dyer’s 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is magnificent. Sweet plum, graphite, lavender and spice develop in the glass, but it is the wine’s exceptional balance and captivating beauty that stand out most. The richness of the vintage has filled out the wine’s classically built frame nicely. Even so, what comes through is a powerful, structured Diamond Mountain Cabernet that exudes class and polish from the first taste to the last. Don’t miss it.”
