2021 DOMAINE CHAUVEAU LA CHARMETTE POUILLY-FUME

The Chauveau family has owned vineyards since the 19th century, with Benoit Chauveau taking over his parents’ ranch in 1995 and his grandparents’ farm in 1997, dedicating his life to vine cultivation and winemaking. Benoit and his wife, Emmanuelle, have developed successful international marketing and expanded their wines’ distribution, making informed consumers very happy.

The Pouilly-Fumé AOC lies along the Loire River in the Central Loire Valley and has been a recognized, protected region since 1937, famous for its dry white wines made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc. The 2021 ‘La Charmette’ was fermented in stainless steel and aged on the lees for four to eight months to retain freshness and richness that can be enjoyed young and will display its bright aromatics for three to four years.
