2020 HANZELL SEBELLA SONOMA COAST PINOT NOIR

Hanzell Vineyards is a historic Sonoma property planted in 1953 after the founder, James D. Zellerbach, spent extensive time in Burgundy, becoming completely inspired and entranced by the grapes and wine culture of the world-famous wine region. The de Brye family has owned the property since 1975, who, along with winemaker Michael McNeil, are committed to ensuring sustainability and maintaining a holistic farming approach.

Hanzell “Sebella” Pinot Noir is a blend of specially selected plots from like-minded growers along the Sonoma Coast and aged in 100% neutral French oak barrels, preserving the wine’s natural fruit character. This wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for the classic savory spice and earthy essences of mature Pinot Noirs, mirroring the age-worthy wines of the estate for about a third of the price.
