"The Castalia Rochioli Vineyard Pinot Noir 2020 is incredibly powerful on the nose and bursts with sweet black cherries, rich plums, wild strawberry jam, cola, dried mushrooms, and English roses. Even more compelling on the rich palate, it continues with concentrated wild berries, ripe strawberries, rich cherries, pie spices, and Darjeeling black tea. The 2020 Castalia represents the best offering of the eight or so vintages I've tasted and concludes with a lively palate presence, alluring fruit, powerful intensity, and a concentrated, complex finish."
