2018 WEST POLE SONOMA COAST PINOT NOIR
$29.99 $29.99
Kurt Beitler’s uncle, Chuck Wagner of Caymus Vineyards, hired him to overlook one of the family’s coastal vineyards in Occidental, creating a deep interest and passion for the Sonoma Coast and cool-climate viticulture. Kurt is the fifth generation of his family to be in the winemaking business, founding Bohème Winery in 2004 with the mission of producing small-production Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah from the Sonoma Coast.
The 2018 vintage was outstanding due to the mild weather, creating an extended hang time, ideal for developing complex aromas, intense flavors, and refined, silky tannins. The 2018 West Pole Pinot Noir comes from estate-grown fruit fermented with 30% whole clusters for extra freshness and aged in 10% new French oak for 22 months for full flavor integration.
