2015 ET FILLE KALITA VINEYARD PINOT NOIR
$25.00 $25.00
It’s always telling when a particular vineyard attracts some of the top producers in the State to produce a wine from it. Fruit from the Kalita Vineyard in Yamhill-Carlton has gone to some of Oregon’s greatest producers including Bergstrom, Owen Roe and Panther Creek to name a few… Et Fille’s version is bright, balanced, elegant, and it’s lush without being rich, or cloying. This medium bodied style gives a vivid interpretation of the remarkably individualistic terroir of these chosen vines.
The Kalita Vineyard is unique for its bowl-shape, which allows winemakers the ability to select rows that have their desired sun exposure for their ideal style. Et Fille’s 2015 Pinot from Kalita blends Pommard and Wädenswil clones, and the style is bright and focused, with tart red cherries, cola and dried flowers.
2015 was a solid vintage in Willamette Valley and one the Wine Spectator described as producing, “Large clusters helped to balance a hot vintage toward elegance”, and gave an overall vintage rating of 95 Points. If you’re looking for an easy drinking Pinot that’s light on it’s feet, sophisticated and charming, this should be right up your alley.

2015 ET FILLE KALITA VINEYARD PINOT NOIR
![]() | "The elegantly styled Et Fille Kalita Vineyard Oregon Pinot Noir 2015 starts with a beautiful nose of red berries, bright cherries along with floral notes and dried herbs. The palate is bright and very much in the lane of classic, beautifully drinkable Pinot Noir with raspberries, cola, violets and a touch of earth. Drink this charming wine from 2020 through 2025." 90 Points, Kevin M. Vogt, Master Sommelier |
