2014 SOTER “NORTH VALLEY” WILLAMETTE VALLEY PINOT NOIR

Crafted by one of the most talented winemaking duos on the West Coast… Tony Soter spent 30 years in Napa Valley, at iconic wineries including Chappellet, Spottswoode, Shafer and Araujo, to list a few.  He also founded Etude Winery in 1980, which he later sold in the early 2000’s.  James Cahill is a veteran with 20 harvest seasons in Oregon… Most notably, he honed his skills at Beaux Freres working alongside Bobby Kacher.

Emerging from one of Oregon’s greatest vintages, the Wine Spectator rates the overall vintage in Willamette Valley at 94-97 points.  Soter’s North Valley is classic Oregon Pinot Noir, arising from a labyrinth of carefully selected vineyard sites throughout the Willamette Valley.  This Pinot also recently earned 93 Points from James Suckling… I strongly recommend securing a case.
