2014 ROAR "SIERRA MAR" PINOT NOIR

Winemaker Notes: "Spicy, dark, and dense are the words that come to mind while tasting our 2014 Sierra Mar Pinot Noir. Deep aromas of plum and blackberry jam open up to include brighter elements of perfumed oak and anise, offering an intriguing interplay between bright and dark. This wine seems to brighten over time bringing cherry syrup and high tones of seared portabella mushroom to the mix, and while the finish starts out with a lean basin of oak and spice, it then floods with a medley of fruit and fruit jam, fleshing out an already complex, lingering palate."
