2013 DANIEL “FERRINGTON VINEYARD” PINOT
$29.00 $29.00
Emerging from one of Anderson Valley’s most celebrated vineyards, Ferrington fruit was made famous by top producers like Williams-Selyem and McPhail who also make single-vineyard Pinots from this unmistakable vineyard. Not surprisingly, this profound Pinot was composed by accomplished winemaker Dan Fitzgerald, who got his start working at Williams-Selyem…
Single-vineyard Pinot Noirs from Ferrington can range from $55-$125 per bottle… About half-price at $29/btl, this is the best Pinot Noir deal that I’ve offered in quite some time. With a total production of 11 barrels, this wine’s unequivocal cherry/raspberry/spice aromas and plush, elegant mouthfeel are deeply pleasurable and perform significantly beyond its modest price.

2013 DANIEL "FERRINGTON VINEYARD" PINOT NOIR
Winery Notes: "This pinot noir showcases a deep plum red color in the glass. The nose is particular to the Ferrington Vineyard, with its Bergamot tea leaf and Asian spices. Well structured and bright, the palate is vibrant with flavors of boysenberry, tart cherry and cedar. The wine finishes with excellent length accentuating its notes of red fruit and spice."
