2012 VOCES “NAPA VALLEY” PETITE SIRAH
$34.99 $34.99
A profound expression of dry farmed Petite Sirah, originating from the Frediani Vineyard in Calistoga, where top-tier producers like Selene, Relic and B-Cellars have also sourced fruit. It’s authored by Fernando Candelario who worked alongside Greg Brown at T-Vine, before launching his own label in 2002. Fernando became known for his timeless, extracted and well-built wines that are delightful upon release and cellar gracefully for up to a decade.
Spending 12 months in oak and two full years in bottle before release, this dense and opulent Petite Sirah is striking from the moment you pour it into the glass, and impresses with its scrumptious aromatics and multi-faceted flavors. The vines rely on winter rains as their sole source of irrigation and produce fruit of terrific depth and intensity. If you’d like to diversify your cellar with a micro-produced Petite Sirah, you’ll want to secure a case while supplies last… Just 6 barrels were produced.
