Hourglass produces super high-scoring Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot under the guidance of winemaker Tony Biagi, who gained nearly ten years of experience making wines for Plumpjack. The estate consists of two vineyards focused on Bordeaux varietals that Tony assembles like a puzzle with a modern twist on an old-world wine style.

This wine harmoniously combines Merlot, Petite Sirah, and Cabernet Sauvignon from the Blueline Estate vineyard and a select few top-of-the-line vineyards for a delectable wine with finesse and approachability. The 2019 vintage was aged 16 months in a combination of new and seasoned French oak, contributing to a multilayered complexity and irresistibly smooth tannins that make HG III a brilliant entry into one of Napa Valley’s most desired Estates.
