2015 SINGER CELLARS “NAPA VALLEY” SINGER CUVÉE

It’s not often that we taste a wine so immediately pleasing that it gives us a palpable sense of intense value, so much so that we offered to buy all of it on the spot… This one did just that. One taste sets off a melodic aria of enchanting black fruits, mineral laced cherries, exotic spices, graphite and crushed rock…  Singer Cellars 2015 Singer Cuvée reveals a symphony of gorgeous fruit and gradually escalates, fueling a chorus of vivid dark fruits, wilted violets, dark chocolate and hints of cigar box.

Like the fine tuning of an instrument, this one harmonized for 20 months in French oak barrels and now is beautifully layered with an intoxicating blend, led by 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and heightened by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot.  Primarily sourced from Napa Valley’s revered Coombsville AVA, this wine reveals abundant intensity, stunning concentration, and long, long finish.  Notably, when we offered the 2013 Singer Song Cabernet, we sold out in a single day and we could have filled an album with all of the re-order requests.  With a total production of just 60 cases, don’t hesitate to buy tickets to this showy phenom.
