2014 KEISER WINE CO. “BDX” PROPRIETARY BLEND
A wine of unfathomable richness that triggers a feeling much like drawing a Royal Flush in a high-stakes card game… this four barrel production blend from secret origins, comes from coveted vineyards in Oak Knoll, St Helena and Carneros… With cards close to the vest, the only detail that we can divulge on the fruit source is that the Merlot came from the Moon Vineyard in Carneros, which has been a fruit source for Pahlmeyer… The 2014 BDX casts a broad spectrum of aromatics, like a spinning roulette wheel, clicking off loads of dark berries, blackcurrant liquor, red currant, baker’s chocolate, and expresso. One taste and you’ll feel like a winner regardless of whether you bet on red or black… because it’s both
Transpiring from a vintage that’s becoming increasingly known for its superior qualities, this is an absolutely brilliant merger of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Cabernet Franc and 14% Merlot. This 2014 BDX blend then spent an impressive 20 months in a mix of top quality Taransaud, Ramond and Seguin Moreau barrels. Memorable for its creamy richness, voluptuous texture and gorgeously sweet tannins, if you’re searching for a impeccably balanced, velvety red, you’ll want to secure a case of this, while you still can.

Winery Notes: "There is a lot going on in this wine, including incredible value for a delicious Bordeaux blend. The aromas are reminiscent of taking a deep breath over an open barrel of fine wine, where the depth and layers seem almost endless. Red currant and blackberry introduce the nose, while spicy cedar, vanilla and coffee lace through the layers of fruit. The palate is equally complex, mirroring the qualities found on the nose and more. The silken entry leads into dark juicy berry flavors bathed with bright acidity. Traces of mocha, anise and eucalyptus lend interest, while supple tannins and sweet oak notes add to the wine's depth."
