2005 SEMPRE VIVE “MISCELA” PROPRIETARY RED

Conjured from 40 year old vines in Calistoga, the very special site was planted by Jim Barbour… one of California’s top Vineyard Managers who planted vineyards for Hundred Acre, Grace Family and Barbour to name a few.  A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, all of the elements are just right in this marvelous wine.  If you’re wondering how Napa Valley’s 2005’s are performing now, American wine critic, Antonio Galloni  recently tasted over 100 great 2005 Vintage Napa Valley Cabernets and found they were “… just now approaching their periods of peak drinkability.”  If you’re on the lookout for a perfectly aged Cabernet Blend at a realistic price… this one is definitely for you.
