The Oakville Cuvée is the rarest significant wine produced in Napa Valley, blended from select lots of Oakville’s finest vineyards (complete list below), representing the spirit of Oakville and the camaraderie of its vintners. There is no other wine like it, and with just 100 Magnums, 25 Double Magnums, all etched and numbered, and a minuscule quantity of unnumbered 750 ml bottles, it’s a joy to behold. The 2019 vintage was cellared and bottled by Peter Heitz at Turnbull Wine Cellars and exemplifies the vintage and region’s most powerful characteristics.

"The 2019 Oakville Winegrowers Cuvée Cabernet Sauvignon begins with a nose that includes black currants, cherry liqueur, violets, and herbs de Provence. The palate has an incredible balance of red and black fruits, giving it a beautifully integrated brightness of fruit with richness and depth. The plush palate includes blackberry, creme de cassis, tobacco leaf, black pepper, subtle clove, and graphite with vanilla hints. The satiny tannins and long finish will allow for relatively early enjoyment, but the overall structure will make this a real cellar treasure for years to come."

"The 2019 Cuvée announces itself with vibrant aromas that immediately engage and invite you to experience more. The nose offers depth, with brown spice and toasted almonds, yet it is also beautifully floral, redolent with violets and red cassis tones that are fresh and exhilarating. The wine is velvet on the palate, with both bright red and dark fruits that spill over the solid tannin structure, bringing forth plums, cherries, cassis and huckleberry. This wine is drinking beautifully now, and decanting further enhances the gorgeous aromas and opens the wine to greater complexity."
