2017 VIK LA PIU BELLE PROPRIETARY RED
$65.00 $65.00
Composed by legendary winemaker Patrick Valette and inspired by the magnificent, dynamic terroir of Chile’s Cachapoal Valley, Vik’s 96 Point 2017 La Piu Belle release is a work of art that James Suckling glows is “flavorful and intense.” It’s painted with Cabernet Sauvignon’s power, Carmenere’s depth and structure, and Merlot’s supple qualities and made in a super-rich and exhilarating style that takes you on a journey to the Southern Hemisphere, highlighting the region’s most potent characteristics and the winery’s pursuit of perfection.
La Piu Belle arose from deep, porous decomposed granitic soils discovered after years of intense scientific research and more than 4,000 soil samples. The well-draining, nutrient-deficient soils combine with a temperate Mediterranean climate and marine influence to produce intensely flavored berries.
The owners of Vik created the winery on a foundation of science, equipped with state-of-the-art tools, allowing the wine team the freedom range to vinify without regard for cost, making every decision solely on its impact on the quality of their wine.
