The Touriga Nacional grape is widely considered to be Portugal’s finest grape variety. One of the world’s leading wine writers, Jancis Robinson, who was an advisor to Queen Elizabeth II when stocking her wine cellar, has compared it to the partnership between Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
