2019 HANZELL SEBELLA SONOMA COUNTY CHARDONNAY
$32.00 $32.00
James D. Zellerbach established the historic Hanzell property in 1953 after spending several years in Burgundy, wholly engaged and inspired by the style and techniques of the world-famous wine region. The De Brye family acquired the estate in 1975, focusing on sustainability and maintaining the original, holistic farming approach.
Hanzell “Sebella” Chardonnay is a blend of specially selected plots from like-minded growers in Sonoma County and aged in 100% neutral French oak barrels, preserving the wine’s natural fruit character. This wine can be enjoyed today in its youth, with fresh floral and bright fruit characteristics, and can also age and gain further complexity for a fraction of the price of other wines with a similar pedigree.
