Winery Notes: “This wine starts at our vineyards in Napa’s Oak Knoll appellation. A blend of lush Dijon clone and a specially planted block of the prized Wente clone makes this wine complex and elegant.  Aged in 75% new French oak and undergoing 100% malolactic fermentation, this wine delivers the creaminess and vanilla notes without being “over -buttered” or “over-oaked.”  The entry on the palate is bright citrus, that quickly resolves into bosc pear and tropical flavors.  The long, satiny finish brings toasted vanilla and hints of nutmeg.”
