2016 SBRAGIA “HOME RANCH” CHARDONNAY
$23.99 $23.99
With no shortage of focus, Sbragia’s latest release of their Home Ranch Chardonnay is full-on seduction, and bursts from the glass with a basket of preserved lemons, sweet floral, passion fruit and hints of fresh pastries. Completely transcending Chardonnay at this realistic price, the wines keen line of acidity and mineral-laced persistence sway your taste buds into stealing another sip… Robert Parker recently altered readers that, “Sbragia displays a Midas touch with Chardonnay”, and that should be the poster statement for the 2016 release.
Composed by legendary winemaker Ed Sbragia who spent 32 years as winemaster at Beringer Vineyards, where he still consults, this beautiful interpretation of Dry Creek Valley Chardonnay was aged for 6 months in French oak, preserving the wines lively acidity and beautifully delineated fruit. I strongly recommend a case or two of this crisp and refreshing Chardonnay to share with your friends and family this summer.

2016 SBRAGIA "HOME RANCH" CHARDONNAY
Winery Notes: "Farmed by our family for decades, Home Ranch Vineyard is located at the southeast end of Dry Creek Valley, where temperatures are cooler than most of the appellation. The 2016 growing season was a great one; there were consistent temperatures which contributed to a long hang time and deep, developed avors. This vintage has fresh aromas of apples and citrus, mainly lemon, with a slight hint of vanilla, to round out an overall crisp and vibrant wine."
