$23.00 $19.99 $19.99

We uncovered this wonderful new, modestly priced Chardonnay last September in their inaugural vintage. The wine went on to outperform some of Napa Valley’s most celebrated Chardonnays, and at only $19.99 per bottle, it earned 95 Points and the Platinum Medal at the Critic’s Challenge International Wine Competition.

Sourced from the famous Hyde clone, this wine originates from a single vineyard in the southernmost part of Sonoma, dipping into the Carneros Appellation. This wine flawlessly administers a tantalizing combination of richness, complemented with an array of decadently complex flavors.

Crafted by Gloria Mercado-Martín, a well-rounded winemaker who’s held positions at notables like Domaine Chandon, Newton Vineyards, Beringer and Jackson Family Wines. It won’t be long before the rest of the world catches on to this outstanding Chardonnay… I highly recommend securing a case or two before the reviews on the 2014 follow-suit.

Winery Notes: “On the nose you’ll find plenty of buttery, warm croissant notes with vibrant aromas of apricot jelly and vanilla complemented by a hint of toasted almond.  Fresh pear and apple favors take center stage while favors of brioche round out this full-bodied creamy Chardonnay. Our 2014 Custard Sonoma Valley Chardonnay is a great food pairing wine. Try it with BBQ lemon pepper salmon with parsley, lime and caper dressing, a Hoisin and honey glazed pork chop, or an appetizer of bleu cheese with red grapes and walnuts…
