At the 2015 California State Fair Wine Competition, this Chardonnay was awarded 95 Points, a Gold Medal, and best of Class in the Russian River Category. This was followed by a Gold Medal and Best of Class for Chardonnay in the $25-$34.99 category at the Sonoma County Harvest Fair… If that’s not enough convincing, the World Wine Championships also awarded this beauty with a Gold Medal.
Sourced exclusively from the Aquarius Ranch Vineyard, located on Westside Road in the heart one of the most elite areas of the Russian River Valley. The wine spent 14 months in oak and was aged sur lie, a French term meaning literally ‘on the sediment.’ The sur lie style aging plays a large role in contributing to this wine’s distinctly complex flavors.

Bright, fruity, spicy aromas of pineapple cake, spiced nuts, grilled apple, and toasted coconut with a satiny, lively, dryish medium-to-full body and a warming, layered, medium-long chutney and a hint of bbq rub finish with fine tannins and moderate oak. A vivacious, flavor packed chardonnay."
