2018 FORTUNATE SON THE DREAMER NAPA VALLEY CABERNET SAUVIGNON
$125.00 $125.00
Jayson Woodbridge founded Hundred Acre in 1998 and wasted no time proving the vast capabilities of his winemaking and vineyards. His Cabernet made the Wine Spectator Top 100 list in his second vintage and earned more than twenty perfect 100-point scores from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate between 2002 and 2015. During this time, Jayson searched for additional plots with the potential to produce world-class wines. Two decades later, he found what he was looking for, and the Fortunate Son brand was reborn.
The Dreamer arose from a site near Hundred Acre’s Few and Far Between vineyard planted with 85 to 90-year-old vines. The 2018 vintage is 92% Cabernet Sauvignon complimented with unknown red varieties interplanted within the vineyard. The wine is hand-crafted in Hundred Acre’s underground winery and showcases Jayson’s relentless pursuit of perfection and no-compromise winemaking philosophy.
