2018 FORMAN NAPA VALLEY CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Ric Forman always dreamed of being the sole proprietor of a boutique winery focused on making small quantities of wine by personally tending to and nurturing the fruit himself. He believes that his philosophy and hands-on approach are integral to his success in crafting the finest wines possible in Napa Valley. He’s one of Napa Valley’s most accomplished winemakers, credited for introducing the first vintage-dated Merlot in California. Ric was the long-time winemaker at Sterling Vineyards, gaining experience at Newton Vineyards and Duckhorn as well.

Fascinated and passionate early on from experience in the great vineyards of Bordeaux, Ric’s old-world style Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated blend is complex, balanced, and beautiful. This wine is aged 22 months in French oak within deep caves dug underneath his sloping hillsides to maintain the perfect temperature and humidity. The result is an incredible wine that has already scored 96+ points.
