2014 HUMANITAS “SIGNUM” PROPRIETARY RED

After tasting over 5,000 wines last year, my #1 pick was more obvious than it had been in any other year…  It was simply impossible to keep Humanitas Signum on the shelf.  It’s a wine that everybody absolutely loves, and within a few hours of releasing our number one pick, the entire vintage was history… Our tasting panel was eagerly awaiting the release of the 2014, and after trying it this week, we bought every bottle we could get our hands on.  We’ve been tasting this 2014 vintage for the last couple months and the evolution has been amazing and it tells us that it’s going to be an absolute Blockbuster… Of course it’s so good, I would recommend a case now and a case to lay down in the cellar.

Wonderfully intense, compelling and rich, this wine has everything I desire in a big Cab blend…  the 2014 Signum is laden with sensual dark fruits, melted black chocolate, dried violets, tobacco leaf and cassis.  When we introduced the previous vintages, I asked when was the last time you enjoyed a bottle of wine and honestly thought you underpaid for it? I predict you will feel just that way when you try the new 2014 Signum Proprietary Red.
