Aged 20 months in 80% new French oak, this is 100%Cabernet Sauvignon, but is a smaller cuvée of only 524 cases. The wine has plenty of cedary, Christmas fruitcake notes intermixed with licorice, blackcurrants, dusty/earthy undertones and a touch of background smoke and oak. Its tannins are soft, the acidity low and the wine round, concentrated and compelling. Drink it over the next 15-20 years.
